Integrations Developer (Python / ReactJS) DESCRIPTION Ever tweeted a big brand and they responded back to you (and resolved your issue) in lightning fast time?

There’s a pretty good chance that company used Conversocial to respond and resolve. As an Integration Engineer, you will be focused on providing technical services and developing integrations between Conversocial and a variety of other software systems used inside the contact centre and beyond.

We want all of our clients to be at the forefront of innovation in social customer care and this role is critical in helping our clients leverage real value from data held in Conversocial and within their own systems.

A key part of the Professional Services team in all integrations projects, the Integration Engineer will develop the software required to integrate between client systems and Conversocial.

The Integration Engineer will work closely with Engineering and the Professional Services team to ensure successful delivery and support of integrations.

CORE TECHNOLOGIES Conversocials core platform is built using Python, MongoDB, ReactJS, and a whole host of other technologies including Solr, Redis, Memcached, MySQL and more.

Our production infrastructure runs on AWS and is maintained by our Operations team using Chef, Jenkins and other continuous delivery technologies.

We try to use the best tools for the job without cutting ourselves too much on the bleeding edge. We invest in internal infrastructure and tools to make our lives easier.

Our code is tested and code reviewed to ensure quality. RESPONSIBILITIES Core responsibilities : *Assist in architecting solutions and collaborating with the Integration team to ensure smooth delivery of Integrations for clients *Build, test, deploy, and support integrations between client systems and Conversocial *Develop core software components to be used in multiple client integrations *Assist in continuously improving Conversocial's client focused API's Longer term responsibilities : *Architect complex integration solutions in collaboration with the Integration team and the clients technical resources *Support the production of technical scopes, documentation, and other items required to ensure sale and delivery of integrations *Support the Professional Services team with technical expertise on a variety of subjects REQUIREMENTS *Degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience *Good working knowledge of at least two programming languages (bonus points if one is Python) *Self-

starter with an aptitude for learning new technologies and solving complex problems *Good communication and teamwork skills : able to collaborate and provide feedback *Time-

  • management skills and track record for meeting or exceeding deadlines *Experience working in a fast-paced and fluid environment *Verbal and written communication skills;
  • demonstrable ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical colleagues.
