Their model aligns with the Site Reliability Engineering structure, meaning that Operations and Development teams are tasked to hit an uptime SLA for their users, uniting everyone with the same goal -
keeping their customers happy.
This shared responsibility means everyone is always learning, and there’s no leaving it for someone else to manage, which has created an empowering and exciting dynamic across the organisation.
They are utilising a hybrid cloud solution deliver great service across the world, and are using Docker in production, and Kubernetes on the orchestration side to ensure a consistent environment for their development teams.
They are committed to running their infrastructure as code and are making some great advancements to their production infrastructure using Terraform.
Experience with containerisation, and especially Kubernetes within a production environment would be advantageous to your application, but it is not essential as long as you can demonstrate an interesting in working with these tools.
You’ll be joining their applications team, helping to keep things running as they should, and smoothing the way for a continuous delivery pipeline that helps the company keep delivering value to their customers.
Though a hands-on role, you’ll be helping with critical systems, and the planning and designing of new features, and of course, you’ll also have significant involvement in deployments.
This role would give you the chance to take on a more strategic role, while still getting your hands dirty in a fun and collaborative team that is working with a lot of good exciting technology.
