Internal Communications Manager

Our professional services client is looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Director of Brand and Communications the Internal Communications Manager is responsible for information and engaging colleagues, in order to foster their sense of belonging and adhesion to the company's vision and strategy.

The role :

Identifies and analyses the internal communication needs of the target audiences

Responsible for owning the annual calendar of internal communications (outside of but in collaboration with Operations)

Creates effective communications through copy writing, utilisation of channels and management of governance processes

Manages a network of key stakeholders that fosters the circulation of news

Identifies internal communication issues and their root cause and recommends solutions

Identifies of new communication methods and builds the business case to deploy

Identifies ways to measure effectiveness of communications and implements recommendations for improvement

Support the Director of Brand & Comms in communications initiatives as required

The role will also require an element of campaign management including :

Liaising with all relevant internal and external contacts, including : wider Marketing Team, Design Studio, Legal, Print Management and suppliers

Drafting copy and briefing design / creative

Presenting creative and copy, with rationale, to internal departments and clients

Trafficking visuals, copy, amends, approvals and proofs

Obtaining sign-off from relevant stakeholders

Issuance and adherence to timing plans

Raising of print specs for the print team to quote

Adherence to budget

Adhering to current policies, procedures and processes

The candidate :

Previous experience in a similar role within a regulated large corporate environment

Ability to empathise with the audience

Ability to interpret information to develop comms

Time and priority management

Excellent attention to detail and proof reading skills

Resilience
