Mount Charles Group manages the beverage provision at Armagh Market Place Theatre.

We, at Mount Charles Group, pride ourselves on the highest level of customer satisfaction alongside the quality beverage service provided within the venue.

Mount Charles Catering is currently recruiting a highly competent, focussed, self-motivated and committed Manager to run this prestigious venue.

On site there is a Theatre, with a capacity of 400, hosting all manner of show.. The venue operates around the theatre schedule and there would be a requirement to assist the Mount Charles Events and Beverage team on other events through the country.

We are looking for an energetic, hands on Manager, to develop and drive forward the current business model. The individual will be well presented, well spoken, with excellent customer service skills and a strong background in working towards set targets and KPI’s.

This is a Front of House position and would suit a Bar Manager looking for a change in direction and less anti-social hours

Key duties and responsibilities

  • To ensure the efficient and effective delivery of beverage operations and designated services in accordance with the agreement of the contract.
  • To deliver the highest possible standard of customer service
  • Effective management of the team to ensure the delivery of both qualitative and quantitative results.
  • Manage theBar Operation with the available resources within budget and to achieve sales and GP targets.
  • To manage and control the service offers for the client to the agreed specification and to the agreed performance
  • To actively seek and identify opportunities and innovation for business growth & development with focus on latest trends and best practices.
  • Responsible for HSE compliance within the catering services.
  • Motivate, coach and train staff to perform to the highest standards and in line with Mount Charles Group Policy..
  • Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years management experience in a busy bar environment,
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills·
  • Strong leadership over a team of casual staff
  • Intermediate computer skills·
  • Hours of work : 40 hours per week

    Rate of pay : To be discussed at interview.
